Watch out for Daniel Bridle who is appearing in the new Sky 1 programme “Spy” starting on Friday 14th October

Good luck to Ruby Bridle who makes her West End debut as “Lavender” in the RSC show “Matilda – A Musical” which opens at the Cambridge Theatre for previews on October 24th. Ruby played the same part in the RSC production at Stratford Upon Avon last year and was absolutely brilliant. All our love and best wishes to Ruby for a very successful West End run!!

Finally, for those of you wishing to expand your dance skills, we are running a 5 week “Contemporary” Dance course on a Monday Evening from 8-9pm at the Fleetdown Community Centre, Fleet Estate, Dartford. The course starts on Monday 14th November and finishes on Monday 12th December and is intended for Sylvera Students from Year 9/10 upwards. The classes will be taught by Natasha Wade, who many of you will know as she has been a Sylvera Student since the age of 3. Tash is currently in the 3rd year of her Dance degree course at the Laban Centre and is an amazing contemporary dancer. We know that anyone coming along to take these classes will learn some wonderful choreography and will get a real insight into contemporary dance. Anyone interested, please email for more details and to book your place. Numbers will be limited, so don’t delay!!

new term, new website

Hi and welcome to our new look Sylvera Website.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone again after our long summer break. Of course, the last time we saw most of you was at the Orchard Theatre in July. It all seems ages ago now but what a fantastic weekend we had. “Moving Pictures” was a great show, enjoyed by everyone who saw it. We have been overwhelmed by the compliments received about the dances, costumes, and the talent and behaviour of our students and we have to congratulate everyone who took part. All 4 performances were brilliant. CONGRATULATIONS!!

This new term will bring new challenges as we continue with exam work in the run up to Christmas. For those of you who can’t wait until the next show, it’s already booked and we are in the early stages of planning. By the time we get into February or March, it will all begin again!

Looking forward to seeing you all soon. If you are searching the web and thinking of becoming a Sylvera student, why not come along and join us, have lots of fun and dance till you drop!

Dani
